In the film, Ryan Reynolds portrays a non-playable video game character named Guy in a game called “Free City.” Once he realizes he’s living in a fictional world, Guy tries to become the game’s hero.

The movie has performed well since its release on August 13th, and it’s projected to top the box office this weekend with an estimated $26 million in ticket sales.
