The Walt Disney World 50th Anniversary will be kicking off soon and we’ve got a lot to look forward to!

There will be a brand new cavalcade and character interactions at Magic Kingdom, more booths will arrive at the EPCOT Food & Wine Festival, Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure will finally debut, and now we know that a highly anticipated restaurant will also be opening in EPCOT shortly after the celebrations kick-off!
Disney has officially announced that Space 220 will open in mid-September for guests to travel up into space for a brand new dining experience!

Located near Mission: SPACE in Future World, guests will be taken to the Centauri Space Station through a “Space Elevator” (where they’ll watch as EPCOT shrinks away) to dine with a panoramic view 220 miles above Earth.

The menu will feature dishes from Executive Chef Marc Kusche during a two-course prix fixe menu for lunch and a three-course prix fixe menu for dinner. Plus, there will even be some specialty cocktails from space and more!
So, while we don’t know the exact opening date quite yet, we’re getting closer to finally being able to visit the brand new restaurant in EPCOT! Of course, we’ll continue to keep an eye out for updates and when reservations will become available, so be sure to stay tuned to AllEars for the latest!

Hoping that this place will be a less-expensive choice than the Star Wars Hotel. And yet an upgrade from the cantina at Batuu. A little bit of the force in Epcot ( and yes, I realize there won’t be a star cruisers in the portals).
