Spirit Airlines Experiencing Cancelations and Delays for Third Straight Day

Spirit Airlines accounts for a large number of travelers going through the Orlando International Airport.

Now, the popular budget carrier is experiencing a considerable amount of cancellations and delays due to “system-wide disruptions.”

According to the Orlando Sentinel, Spirit Airline passengers are now facing delays and cancellations for the third day in a row.

Nearly 3,000 flights have been canceled or delayed since Sunday. Spirit Airlines is blaming these cancelations and delays on a system-wide breakdown, a shortage of staff members, and bad weather across the country.

The Orlando Sentinel reports that Spirit canceled 63 flights arriving and departing from Orlando on Monday alone.

Flight-tracking website FlightAware shows that the airline delayed or canceled over 1,000 flights between yesterday, August 2nd, and today.
