A lot has changed in Disneyland over the past three months that it has been reopened to guests!

Now, guests can explore the brand new land — Avengers Campus, dine with characters once again at Storyteller’s Cafe, and can even ride on the newly reopened and reimagined, Jungle Cruise. And, for those who are looking to spend more time in the parks (or are Legacy Passholders), we’ve finally got all the details on Disneyland’s NEW Annual Passholder program!

After Disneyland closed in 2020, the parks announced that they would be discontinuing the Annual Passholder program. The passholders who held tickets prior to the closures were then dubbed Legacy Passholders. But, there hasn’t been any news on what the new membership program would be like in Disneyland… until now!

Disneyland has announced that they will be introducing a brand new annual passholder program for their “biggest fans” called the Magic Key Program!

The program will include four different ticket options including the Dream Key, Believe Key, Enchant Key, and Imagine Key, with each being priced differently and including a tier of benefits.

The Dream Key is the top-tier option and allows members to hold six theme park reservations at a time with no blockout dates. Plus, the Dream Key comes with the benefit of earning 20% off merchandise and 15% off select food and beverage purchases whenever visiting. It is also the only tier that includes free parking and costs $1,399 annually.

Next is the Believe Key which also enables guests to make six theme park reservations at a time, however, blockout dates will apply and parking will only be discounted by 50%. And, unlike the Dream Key, members will be able to get 10% off both merchandise and select food and beverage purchases. It costs $949 annually.

The second-lowest membership option is the Enchant Key, which costs $699 annually and allows guests to book up to four theme park reservations at a time. A 10% discount on merchandise and select food and beverage purchases is also included though more blockout dates apply and parking is not included.

And, last but not least is the Imagine Key, which features a 10% discount on merchandise and select food and beverage purchases but only allows for two theme park reservations to be held at a time. It costs $399 and is only available for Southern California Residents living in zip codes 90000 to 93599.

A monthly plan will be offered with Magic Key passes starting as low as $399 or $19/month for 12 months, but guests must be a California resident to opt-in. Otherwise, those purchasing a pass will need to make a one-time payment.

And, keep in mind that all Magic Key Program members will be required to have a valid Magic Key Pass and theme park reservation prior to arriving at the parks and will be able to book their reservations up to 90 days in advance.

Of course, park passes and discounts aren’t the only benefits for Magic Key Passholders! Throughout the year, all members also have access to things like a Magic Key holder reservation-based lounge, special experiences and collectibles, discounts at participating locations in the Downtown Disney District, and more!

The Magic Key Program sales will begin on August 25, 2021, no earlier than 10 a.m. PT, and those who make their purchase within the first 66 days (aka “charter members”) will receive an exclusive welcome package with a premium branded pin, celebratory button, magnet, and more. Plus, in the parks, Magic Key holders will be able to access a limited-time experience at Starcade in Tomorrowland beginning September 1st!
