This morning, a BUNCH of holiday season news dropped from Disney World!
Disney shared that Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party would be replaced with a new After Hours event and dropped more details on all the happenings around the parks and resorts, including dates for the Festival of the Holidays. But there’s one announcement that we know Disney fans are going to be very excited about!
If you’ve ever stayed at a Disney Resort hotel during the holiday season (especially a Deluxe Resort!), then you probably know about the over-the-top gingerbread displays. Last year, they weren’t available for health and safety reasons, but they’re coming back in full force for 2021!
These gingerbread displays are HUGE and often decorated ornately. Disney bakers work for months to perfect them, and guests flock to the resorts to check them out — especially the giant house at the Grand Floridian. They’re a staple of the holidays at Disney World for sure!
