Live Entertainment is Returning to Disneyland This Week!

This has been an exciting week for the Disneyland Resort! The Anaheim theme park, which reopened for guests on April 30th, officially updated their health and safety guidelines today which now makes face masks optional for fully vaccinated guests.

Today also happens to be the first day that out-of-state guests are allowed to visit the parks. Guests will also be in for an extra-special treat later this week!

Disneyland President Ken Potrock shared on Instagram that the Disneyland  Band will return for live performances starting this Friday, June 18th! This will be among the first bits of live entertainment returning to Disneyland since the parks closed in March of 2020.

Starting Friday, the band will once again march down Main Street, U.S.A., playing some of our favorite Disney tunes!  Ken Potrock shared a few pictures today of the band rehearsing late last night. The caption reads, “My first time seeing the Disneyland Band was during yesterday’s near-midnight rehearsal. Watching them gave me goosebumps as they prepare for their return to the park on Friday.”
