PHOTOS: First Look Inside a Reopened Tusker House in Disney’s Animal Kingdom!

We’ve been SUPER hyped ever since finding out that the Tusker House Restaurant would be reopening at Disney’s Animal Kingdom on June 20th.

Tusker House

As our favorite safari-clad characters head back to the restaurant, reservations have already reopened for guests to book their visits. Unlike previous meals here, the food will be served family-style at Tusker House! And, we’re here to give you a look inside the newly reopened dining location!

Check-in

Check-in was easy and convenient! Just a click of a button on the My Disney Experience app and we were checked in!

We got a text message when our table was ready and we went right in!

Long time no see!

The seating was still pretty spread out, and we didn’t see any tables that were marked as unavailable.

Breakfast

When breakfast kicks off in the morning, guests will have a Pastries Basket to start with Safari Bread, multigrain Croissants, and Cornbread served with Whipped Butter, Nutella, and Strawberry Preserves. There is also Fresh Fruit with Honey Yogurt Sauce available before the main course.

The spread!

And, we hope you’re hungry because the morning meal features Breakfast Platter with a hearty helping of Potatoes, Scrambled Eggs, Mickey and Simba-shaped Waffles, Bacon, Sausage, and Durban Chicken-Egg Curry with Jasmine Rice.

Lunch/ Dinner

If you come in the afternoon or evening, though, there are more savory eats available for lunch and dinner at the Tusker House. Your dining experience starts off with house-made (vegan) breads that come with hummus, coriander, and mango chutneys
