There’s a New Way to Take Your Selfies in Disney World!

If you’re traveling to Disney World, you’re probably going to want to take a lot of photos while you’re there!

Can’t miss that classic castle pic!

Whether you get the Memory Maker package and have Disney PhotoPass photographers take your picture or you snap some selfies on your cell phone, there are tons of great spots to take photos around the parks. And it’s about to get even more fun, thanks to a new partnership!

Disney’s PhotoPass Service is now teaming up with Snapchat to create new augmented reality photo experiences in the parks. Guests can now virtually meet with Mickey and Minnie by using their own Snapchat Lenses! These lenses will be available in the Snapchat app only at Walt Disney World, but to celebrate their launch, they’ll be temporarily available everywhere until June 3rd.

Disney has also shared that they plan to introduce more fun photo opportunities for the 50th Anniversary, including a virtual transformation of Cinderella Castle. “Look through your camera lens in the app and you’ll see a beautiful mosaic of special moments shared by our guests to celebrate the 50th. The best part is, you can share your memory with your friends and family, and the next time you return during the 18-month 50th Celebration, your photo will be there waiting for you!”

There are more lenses and augmented reality offerings coming in the future, including many made specifically for the milestone anniversary. Disney will be sharing more details soon, so stay tuned to AllEars for the next update!
