Are We Closer to Seeing Fireworks Return to the Disney Parks?

People come to Disney World for magical experiences, magical meals, and magical memories. They also come to Disney World for magical jobs!

In addition to dream careers like being an Imagineer or an animator, we just spotted one of the coolest job opportunities, and if you’ve got a flair for fireworks, you should totally apply.

Fireworks and Disney go hand-in-hand. As revered a tradition as Character Cavalcades and holiday spectacles, the explosive entertainment has long been a quintessential part of the Disney World experience, and now you can be part of it! Ya know, assuming you have extensive experience with pyrotechnics.

According to a recent job posting from Disney, they’re looking to hire a fireworks and special effects designer in Lake Buena Vista, Florida. Basically, Disney World is looking for someone to develop fireworks shows and special effects for other live shows throughout the parks and resorts, and for Disney Cruise Line.

Along with another recent job posting for fireworks, it appears that Disney World is staffing up to incorporate more pyrotechnics back into its entertainment! Disney has NOT announced the return of fireworks, but this could be a sign that they are coming back soon.

This is definitely the coolest job opportunity we’ve seen lately, but unsurprisingly, anything involving things that explode in the sky comes with quite a few responsibilities and requirements, such as at least three years entertainment industry experience, working knowledge of current standards for all aspects of pyrotechnics, and proven leadership skills.
