Club Cool at Disney World Will Return Soon, and We’ve Got NEW Design Details!

Once upon a time, there was a really cool place at EPCOT where you could drink Coke beverages from around the world.

That place was Club Cool, and it literally was the coolest club at Disney World! But the original Club Cool was closed once the construction began for the big EPCOT transformation that is currently underway.

Recently, though, Disney announced that Club Cool was returning to EPCOT, with a brand new look and new offerings! And now we have a better idea of what the new Club Cool might look like, thanks to an Instagram post by Imagineer Zach Riddley. Well, actually, it’s more of what the floors will look like.

The custom floor is created with “three unique terrazzo finishes” with carefully selected colors. But look a little closer and you’ll see something that might seem familiar — the remnants of red Coca-Cola labels! That’s because the flooring will also incorporate recycled green glass chips from Coke bottles right into it!

So you’ll be walking on Coke bottles inside of Club Cool, which is — dare we say — pretty cool! It’s just another way Disney is trying to remain environmentally friendly while reusing existing products. Also, the binder used to hold the terrazzo together is made of biodegradable materials.
