Disneyland Will Open Two COVID Vaccine Sites On Property Next Week for Cast Members

Last week, the Disneyland Resort reopened its two theme parks, along with Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel and Spa. We’ve been covering all of the latest happenings from the Happiest Place on Earth following it’s thirteen-month-long closure, and we’re thrilled to see Cast Members back in the parks!

Speaking of Cast Members, Orange County Register has announced that Disneyland employees will soon be eligible to receive the COVID-19 vaccine at work.

Two on-property locations will be made available to Disneyland Cast Members to receive the COVID-19 vaccine: one location will be at the Disneyland Hotel, which remains closed to guests at this time. The other location will be at a backstage pharmacy.

Both active and furloughed Cast Members, along with their families, will be eligible to receive either the two-shot Pfizer vaccine or the single Johnson & Johnson vaccine beginning next Thursday, May 13th, at the Disneyland Hotel. These vaccines will be made available to eligible recipients through the months of May and June. Appointments can be made via a unique registration code on the Othena appointment website.

The second backstage location will be available to active Cast Members only. This location will only distribute the single-shot Johnson & Johnson vaccine beginning next Monday, May 10th. This location will be available for active Cast Members through the month of May, and appointments can be made on the HUB.

This isn’t the first time a COVID-19 vaccine distribution site has opened on Disneyland property. Earlier this year, a super POD location in the Toy Story Parking Lot opened to the public, but that location closed at the end of April.
