There are some new dining options coming back to Disney World soon!

Yesterday, Disney announced that Chef Mickey’s in Disney’s Contemporary Resort would be adding a dinner option and that both Tusker House in Disney’s Animal Kingdom and Cape May Cafe in Disney’s Beach Club Resort would be reopening soon. And, we’ve already got a look at the pricing and what will be on the menu at Cape May Cafe when it reopens!
The restaurant will reopen for both breakfast and dinner daily beginning May 18th. Breakfast will cost $25 per adult and $14 per child, plus tax and gratuity, and will feature a limited menu with assorted house-made pastries and spreads, mixed fresh fruits, yogurt parfaits, and a breakfast platter.

Disney also shared that they will serve omelets when they reopen, so the menu might grow a little bit more before they officially reopen. And, keep in mind that Minnie’s Beach Bash Character Breakfast will not be available.

Cape May Cafe will also no longer feature the Seafood-and-More Dinner Buffet and instead will offer a family-style meal. It will cost $42 per adult and $25 per child, plus tax and gratuity, and the menu will feature house-baked breads, the turf platter, a seasonal harvest salad, and a seafood boil. Plus, if you’re feeling like adding some more seafood to your meal, you can opt for steamed crab legs or whole steamed lobster for an additional cost.

They will also offer a large assortment of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverage options.

Cape May will officially reopen on May 18th and you can begin booking reservations for the restaurant on May 7th. Stay tuned for more Disney news and updates!

My favorite part of Cape May’s dinner buffet was always the New England Clam Chowder. I hope that will still be available in future, even if it has to be ordered a la carte.
