There has been a lot to celebrate this May the 4th!
Today we’ve gotten a new opening year for Star Wars: Galactic Starcruiser, new peeks at the exciting immersive hotel, and Star Wars celebrations at both Disney World and Disneyland. And now, Disney has released a casting call for a variety of positions aboard the upcoming Star Wars: Galactic Starcruiser.
Along with looking to cast the roles of Rey and Kylo Ren aboard the Halycon, Disney has posted job listings for a variety of other positions at the immersive hotel experience.
These roles include the Halycon’s Captain, Cruise Director, Ship Mechanic, and Fixer. It certainly sounds like something may go wrong onboard the ship if a fixer is involved!
Additionally, Disney has put out casting calls for a First Order Lieutenant, and a Saber Trainer! The latter role fits with what we know about the lightsaber training experience onboard, which will use the “real” lightsabers that we’ve seen previewed!
Along with these roles for actors, Disney is also casting for actors with musical experience for two different roles! One is a First-Time Cruiser, and the other is Galactic Superstar.
We learned more about the role of Galactic Superstar earlier today when Disney revealed more details about the Crown of Corellia Dining Room that will be available on the Halycon. The restaurant is said to feature live performances by a “Galactic Superstar”!
Submissions for all of these job listings will be accepted through May 21st, 2021.
