Wow! Star Wars Day has certainly brought us a LOT of news already!
This morning, Disney officially announced the delay of Disney World’s Star Wars Hotel, Star Wars: Galactic Starcruiser. But, that’s not the only news we got. We also learned more about the experience onboard this first-of-its-kind immersive accommodation!
As a reminder, Galactic Starcruiser is set to be a two-night, immersive experience (nothing like a traditional theme park hotel). Guests will “board” for the duration of their trip to experience an enclosed story onboard, similar to a cruise ship.
We knew that we could expect to see The Sublight Lounge (previously called The Silver C Lounge), but now we know more about one of the full restaurants at Galactic Starcruiser — the Crown of Corellia Dining Room!
This restaurant will feature breakfast and lunch in a welcoming and bright hall, before transitioning for dinner to “a lavish multi-course menu of both otherworldly and familiar origins.”
During one of your dining experiences at the Crown of Corellia Dining Room, you’ll see a performance from one of the new characters aboard, a galactic superstar Twi’lek!
You might recognize the name “Corellia” too. The restaurant is named for the planet known galaxy-wide for its shipyards that gave us not only the Halcyon Starcruiser but also the Millennium Falcon.

The only bad thing is it got delayed a year. We have to wait a whole year. It looks really cool. But a whole year to wait. Why did it get delayed????? I just don’t understand!!!!!!!! Are they just dragging their feet???????
