It has been a rough year for Disney Cast Members!
After the parks closed last year, many of them were furloughed or laid off and since then, not everyone has been called back to work. Disney has realized the troubles that these hardworking employees have gone through, and now, they may be getting a small bit of compensation for it!
According to theme park reporter Scott Gustin, Walt Disney World will be offering all Florida-based currently working and furloughed Cast Members a complimentary one-night resort stay. Eligible employees will be able to choose a preferred date from a list of options.
Availability will be limited and on a first-come, first-serve basis. We don’t have many other details on the specifics of this benefit yet, and it’s unclear whether any resorts or dates will be unavailable with this offer, but we’ll keep you updated as we learn more. Either way, it’s nice to see Disney showing its Cast Members a little extra love!
