As France looks to rebound from this latest shutdown, vaccinated Americans could set their sights on visiting the country (and possibly Disneyland Paris) as soon as this summer, according to Forbes.

French President Emmanuel Macron shared the news that the country’s vaccine rollout is picking up steam, and that he hopes to  “progressively lift the restrictions of the beginning of May.” In addition to working on a certificate that would allow citizens of the European Union to travel between countries, France is also developing on a system that would allow vaccinated Americans to visit as well.

How vaccinated Americans could visit France is still in the works. The European Union is currently working on a digital certificate program that would be made available to individuals to show their proof of vaccination. Similar discussions are taking place in the United States, where several versions of a “vaccine passport” are in development.
