Unexpected things happen all the time in Disney World, whether it’s learning from a few mistakes or happy accidents.

And, today brought us an unexpected “new friend” in the parks!

A Harry Potter character has appeared in Disney World! Well, kind of. As we were walking around the parks, we spotted a small snake chilling out in the greenery in Disney’s Animal Kingdom.

Um, Hello There!

We tried speaking Parseltongue to the little guy. And, it turns out his Floo Powder misunderstood exactly where he wanted to study Herbology.

Even though we explore the theme parks all the time, it’s just a reminder that Florida is on swamp land. So, it’s not uncommon to find creatures of all kinds (scaly ones included) during our visits. You can always let a Cast Member know that there’s a visitor hanging around the area, so they can move them to a safer location!

But, we promise that they’re not there to hurt you. They’re just exploring the theme parks like anybody else! Or, maybe they’ve gotten lost on their way to Hogsmeade. Either way, you can stay tuned with AllEars to see all our adventures in both Disney World and Universal Orlando!

  1. We were once waiting in line for the family raft ride at Blizzard Beach & a little snake slithered across the path in front of us.

  2. Never came across a snake in any park or resort at WDW. Ironically the only place I did have a snake cross my path was at Univeral!
