PHOTOS: The BEST Disney World Snack We Didn’t Know We Needed

A whole bunch of new snacks and activities are heading to Disney’s Animal Kingdom in celebration of Earth Month.

Are You Brave Enough to Face the Yeti?

And today we spotted another brand new treat inspired by one of the park’s most iconic rides. Ever wanted to EAT Mount Everest? Well, now you can!

Move over Matterhorn Macaroon, there’s a NEW mountain-inspired treat in town! If you’re not familiar with it, the Matterhorn Macaroon is a special treat inspired by the Matterhorn coaster, which you can ONLY get in Disneyland.

Matterhorn Macaroon!

But, now there’s a NEW twist on the Disneyland classic in Disney World inspired by our very own ride featuring a Yeti. Introducing the Everest Base Camp Macaroon!

Everest is Now a Macaroon!!

We found this new treat over at Thirsty River Bar & Trek Snacks. It is made of an “Everest-sized” chocolate and coconut macaroon with a snowcap of white chocolate and a flurry of snowflake sprinkles on a base of green tea chocolate crumbs.  That’s a whole lot of stuff going on in one treat!

OoooOooo!

We thought this treat was REALLY yummy and think a lot of people would enjoy it (unless you absolutely, positively HATE coconut). And just picture it, you could grab one of these and snap a photo of it (and you) in front of Expedition Everest, as you wear your NEW Yeti spirit jersey and Yeti Loungefly! Perfection.

A Peek at the Inside

You can get this Everest-inspired macaroon right now for $5.99.

We’ll keep an eye out for more new Disney items and share them with you. Stay tuned for all the latest updates!
