What Are the Wait Times ACTUALLY Like During Spring Break in Disney World?

All four Disney World parks are at capacity this week for spring break, but the crowds have been surprisingly scattered.

When we previously checked on the wait times during one of the busiest times of the year, we saw attractions with waits stretching over an hour and a half. And, now that we’re back in the parks again for the weekend, we’re checking out the rides to test how the posted wait times compare to the actual wait times!

Big Thunder Mountain Railroad regularly sees some of the longest waits in Magic Kingdom. When we hopped in line, the posted wait was 35 minutes. But, we only had to wait 10 minutes to board the “wildest ride in the wilderness!”

Across the way in Liberty Square, Haunted Mansion had a 30-minute posted wait for guests waiting to board their Doom Buggies. But, we only had to wait 23 minutes, which included a pause for the ride’s routine cleaning cycle!

As we made our way into Fantasyland, The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh had a shorter wait time out of many attractions in the park at 20 minutes. We only had to wait 15 minutes, though, to travel through the Hundred Acre Wood.

Peter Pan’s Flight was one attraction whose posted wait time was shorter than the actual wait time! The posted wait was 30 minutes, while we had to wait a few more minutes to board our flying pirate ship at 35 minutes.

We were in the mood for some laughs, so we ventured over to Adventureland for a ride on the Jungle Cruise. This was another instance where we had to wait longer than the posted wait time. The sign said the wait would be 35 minutes, but we waited 42 minutes.

Next up, we visited Pirates of the Caribbean. The posted wait time was 40 minutes, but we only waited for 30.
