We’ve already gotten some big news today.

So far in Disney’s Shareholders Meeting, we’ve gotten opening dates for Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure and La Crêperie de Paris. But there’s even more news to share! Bob Chapek, CEO of The Walt Disney Company, has recently shared an update on Disneyland Resort’s reopening.

Governor Gavin Newsom recently altered the state of California’s guidelines, allowing theme parks of any size to reopen starting April 1st, 2021. But while Disneyland stated that a reopening date was coming “soon,” they didn’t provide any sort of timeline.

Now, though, Chapek has shared that Disneyland has plans to reopen by late April. He explains that while “the response has been great thus far,” it will take time to recall and retrain furloughed Cast Members, as well as prepare the parks for guests again. You can read his full statement here:

Chapek did share that they will share “an opening date in the coming weeks.” We’ll keep an eye out and keep you posted with any further updates. Stay tuned to AllEars for more Disney news!
