An EPCOT Dining Spot Has Closed Temporarily

There are so many great places to eat in EPCOT!

EPCOT

The World Showcase is full of restaurants with tons of delicious options, but currently, Future World is a little empty when it comes to food. When Electric Umbrella closed down last year, guests were left without any real options in Future World East. A new dining spot opened to fill the void, but now it seems like that spot may even be closing for a while!

Around the same time that Electric Umbrella closed Eats at the EPCOT Experience started serving a much fuller menu. They served up typical theme park food like flatbreads and Mickey pretzels to help satisfy guests’ cravings for the basics. But today, when we walked inside, we were greeted with a surprising sight — it was completely closed!

Everything is gone!

There were no Cast Members behind the counter, no menus posted, and no signs that any food was being served. We spoke to a nearby Cast Member who told us that this area was being renovated and would be closed for 3 months.

Here’s what it looked like before!

We haven’t heard any official word from Disney on this closure, but we’ll make sure to keep you updated with any more details. If this spot really is closed for 3 months, then it’s fairly good timing — there’s plenty of food around EPCOT right now thanks to the Flower & Garden Festival outdoor kitchens.
