PHOTOS: Another Attraction Has Plexiglass Added in Disney World

Disney continues to implement new safety measures as the pandemic continues.

We’ve seen updated mask and social distancing policies, and plexiglass dividers have been added to many queues and attractions. Now, another Disney ride received a minor safety update.

When we rode the Wildlife Express Train in Disney’s Animal Kingdom today, we noticed that plexiglass barriers had been added. Several other attractions have also added these barriers in order to increase capacity.

There are no longer signs instructing guests not to sit next to each other on the train — the plexiglass will create separation instead.

However, when we rode, the train was pretty empty. Guests stayed farther apart, and there was no need to utilize that extra space.

Disney is continuing its pattern of adding plexiglass throughout the parks to manage crowds. We’ll keep an eye out for more changes and keep you posted here at AllEars!

  1. Hmm… according to the photograph here it seems like a waste of time and space– that man is leaning forward and isn’t shielded by the glass. If another family were sitting next to him there, the plexiglass isn’t doing anything (even though I know he’s wearing a mask anyway).
