PHOTOS: VelociCoaster, the Wizarding World of Harry Potter, and More from Our Day at Universal!

Hello friends! It’s another beautiful day to visit a theme park, so today we stopped by Universal Orlando.

We rode some rides, did some shopping, and stuffed ourselves with delicious food, and we’re excited to share all of our shenanigans with you! We took lots of photos and videos today, so let’s go!

On our way through Universal’s Islands of Adventure this morning, we caught a glimpse of the construction for the VelociCoaster — boy are we excited to ride this one!

What’s even cooler? At night, you can spot these lights around the perimeter switching between blue and red!

To kickstart our day with some thrills, we headed to the Wizarding World to ride Hagrid’s Magical Creatures Motorbike Adventure. This ride is seriously amazing, and the wait was only posted at 30 minutes! All in all, we waited for just 10 minutes before boarding.

In fact, the wait time was so short that we rode it twice! While waiting in line the second time, we got a really great view of Hogwarts.

After admiring her from afar, we decided we needed to stop by the castle and take a ride on Harry Potter and the Forbidden Journey. Waits were still pretty low at this point in the morning!

After that, it was time to head over to Universal Studios Florida, so it’s “All aboard!” the Hogwarts Express. If you’re a Harry Potter fan, we definitely recommend getting a Park-to-Park ticket so that you can ride the train — it’s totally worth it!

Molly was in the mood to party, so the obvious ride choice is Fast & Furious — Supercharged at Universal Studios Florida. This attraction is a WILD adventure, but so much fun if you’re a fan of the films.

And while we were in the park, we thought we’d stop by to pick up our Universal Orlando Annual Passholder magnet and button. You can get either of these at the Passholder Lounge in Universal Studios Florida and Toon Extra in Islands of Adventure.

We later ran into Doc Brown, who assured us that 2021 is going to be a good year — he has time-traveled through it, after all!

Finally, we lapped back around the park to Diagon Alley. Time for some magic!

And also time for a show! Celestina Warbeck put on a spectacular performance today and looked fabulous while doing it!

The crowds weren’t very bad later in the day. Diagon Alley can get pretty packed, but we still had plenty of room to move around in the afternoon!
