PHOTOS: This Ride Line at Magic Kingdom Took Us To a Different Kind of Train Station!

With social distancing measures firmly in place throughout Disney World, that regularly means ride queues have gotten a little wonky!

In order to ensure a safe six-foot distance between riders, the parks have gotten pretty creative with stretched-out lines, meandering them through some pretty unexpected places, which we experienced today while waiting for one of our favorite rides at Magic Kingdom!

In recent months, we’ve queued up in Adventureland for Splash Mountain and waited in line inside a still-closed restaurant for Peter Pan’s Flight!

Our latest detour occurred while we were lining up to ride Big Thunder Mountain Railroad, which took us to a different kind of railroad entirely!

Frontierland

We’re pretty used to waiting for a while at Big Thunder, but this mostly just means a typical jaunt through an old-timey mine — you know, the usual! Today, however, Disney diverted the queue through the Frontierland Train Station! Not exactly the train we had in mind, but okay!

All in all, the wait was about 60 minutes, and it was kinda cool to be able to see two train stations for the price of one!

With the biggest holiday of the year coming up this week, we’re interested to see what Disney does with more of its long lines! Stay tuned for more updates about Disney Parks!
