PHOTOS: Guests Evacuated From Be Our Guest in Magic Kingdom Due to Fire Alarm

Disney World may be the most magical place on earth, but that doesn’t necessarily mean that things always go perfectly.

Sometimes rides go down for technical issues or need to evacuate their guests, and sometimes restaurants experience issues requiring nearby guests to evacuate as well. But, Disney is generally quick to respond to the issues and take care of guests affected. That was certainly the case today when guests were evacuated from Be Our Guest and QUITE the crowd formed outside the restaurant!

Today, as we walked past Be Our Guest in Magic Kingdom we noticed there was a really large crowd right outside of the restaurant’s gates!

We were able to speak to some Cast Members and found out that a fire alarm went off at Be Our Guest, but thankfully there was no fire.

Guests within the restaurant did, however, have to be evacuated, at the same time that other guests were being called back for their reservations, causing a bit of a line outside.

But, Cast Members worked to fix this situation quickly and within just a few minutes, the guests were taken care of and the crowds thinned out. 

While we were there, we heard Cast Members telling guests that “Lumiere tried a new soufflé and it got away from him” and other magical phrases! It seems that Cast Members always have a way to turn any situation into a magical one. For now, it seems the issue has been resolved and guests can go back to enjoying their food within this beautiful restaurant.
