Disney+ Has Finally Reached Nielsen’s Top 10 Streaming List

Disney+ has been around for a little over one year now, and of all the original content you can find, there’s one show from a galaxy far, far away that has seemed to take the world by storm.

With season two of The Mandalorian filling up all of our Friday evenings, it should come as no surprise that a LOT of people have been streaming Baby Yoda lately.

In fact, The Mandalorian is officially the first Disney+ series to appear on Nielsen’s Top 10 Streaming List, according to Complex.

Currently, the Netflix original series The Queen’s Gambit reigns at the top of the list, with The Office coming in second place. The remainder of the top 10 list includes Schitt’s Creek, Holidate, Criminal Minds, NCIS, The Haunting of Bly Manor, and Great British Baking Show. Each of these shows is on Netflix, making The Mandalorian the only non-Netflix series on the top 10 list.

The Mandalorian has been getting a lot of attention outside of ratings. Earlier this year, the show earned fifteen Emmy nominations, of which it won seven. Clearly the show has been a massive success, so we can expect at least a few more seasons of our pals Mando and Baby Yoda (what do we think of his real name?! Leave a comment!).
