The Diaries of a Beloved Harry Potter Actor are Being Turned Into a Book!

Well, we’re here to share some very exciting news for Harry Potter fans! There’s a new book, giving a glimpse into the life of the beloved actor, Alan Rickman.

Sadly, actor Alan Rickman who played the complex character of Professor Snape passed away in 2016. However, fans now have a new way to celebrate his life — through a series of his diaries that are being turned into a book!

Twenty-seven of Rickman’s personal diaries will be compiled into a single volume book, The Diaries of Alan Rickman, as reported by the Hollywood Reporter. The book will be published by Harry Holt and Company. These diaries will paint a picture of the actor’s life, showcasing his personal interests like traveling and political activism. Rickman began documenting his life through these journal entries in the early 90s!

This is a really unique way to experience and understand the life of this celebrated actor. Harry Potter fans and Alan Rickman fans alike could definitely enjoy this insight into Rickman’s life.
