PHOTOS: Check Out All of the Entertainment From EPCOT’s Festival of the Holidays!

Taste of EPCOT International Festival of the Holidays has officially kicked off! The holiday goodies are the main attraction during this yearly event. Disney likes to kick it up a notch with holiday-themed entertainment to accompany the cookies and cocoa!

The entertainment has been modified and pared back this year. Fan-favorite events like the Candlelight Processional have been canceled to reduce crowding. Still, Disney has provided guests with live performance groups, holiday character cavalcades, cookie strolls, and even a new scavenger hunt! We’re in EPCOT checking out the new and returning holiday fun!

Holiday Character Cavalcades

The characters are dressed up for the holidays and parading around World Showcase! The Mickey and Friends Holiday World Tour made an appearance today!

Mickey, Minnie, and the gang had on their best holiday attire while they greeted guests!

It’s not the holidays without an appearance from the Queens of the winter season!

The Frozen Holiday Promenade made it around the world! Queen Elsa led the way and as Anna sat cozy in her carriage while they took a tour through World Showcase.

It’s not Christmas without the jolly man himself! The Santa Claus Promenade featured old St. Nick in a horse-drawn carriage.  No reindeer in sight, but we were happy to see Santa!

Live Performances

The American Gardens Theatre used to host the Candlelight Processional. It’s now being occupied by a few Disney performance groups. The amphitheater has physically distanced seating arrangements and scheduled entertainment throughout the day.

The Voices of Liberty a capella group is back to croon us with Christmas songs and holiday tunes.

They stepped on stage and sang some familiar favorites while guests enjoyed their funnel cakes and egg nog!

Las Posadas with Mariachi Cobre is making a return to the stage! The Mariachi Cobre performed throughout the Taste of EPCOT International Food and Wine Festival. The group returned with the Las Posadas dance ensemble!

Also returning from the Food and Wine Festival are the JAMMITORS. This hilarious performance group uses trash cans to make sweet music and entertain the crowd! You can find them now in the Canada Pavilion.

The Joyful! vocal ensemble hit the stage and performed a variety of gospel, R&B, and holiday songs! The group has performed on the stage that was placed in front of the Fountain of Nations in the past.

The area is under major construction so their performances are now happening in the World Showplace instead this year.

Plus, guests can also listen to a pianist playing holiday tunes as guests walking around the World Showplace to pick up treats from the food booths inside too!

New this year is Olaf’s Holiday Tradition Expedition, a scavenger hunt that sends guests on a quest to search for clues and objects based on holiday traditions.

At the end of your quest, you get a small prize!

To top off your day, try the returning Cookie Stroll for a chance to try all the holiday cookies around World Showcase. Once you try them all, you get a reward…another cookie!
