NEWS: Disney Imagineer Tony Baxter Inducted into IAAPA Hall of Fame

This past Tuesday, The International Association of Amusement Parks and Attractions (IAAPA) announced their 2020 Award Winners. One of these names was very familiar to Disney Parks enthusiasts — Tony Baxter.

The IAAPA is The Global Association for the Attractions Industry, and we are so excited that they have chosen to honor Baxter!

Tony Baxter was inducted into the IAAPA Hall of Fame, an award developed to recognize pioneers in the attractions industry. Induction into the IAAPA Hall of Fame is considered the highest and most prestigious award in the attractions industry.

Baxter was one of the main Imagineers featured in The Imagineering Story on Disney+. He is an extremely accomplished Imagineer, known for his work on classic Disney attractions such as Big Thunder Mountain Railroad, Star Tours, and Splash Mountain
