Baby Yoda is Now Featured in the London Portrait Gallery (Yes, You Read That Right)

It’s finally the day!

Season two of The Mandalorian has officially premiered on Disney+! And to celebrate the new episodes coming out, the show’s stars just got a very exciting new addition in London!

According to a report from Variety, a portrait of Mando and Baby Yoda will be unveiled in the National Portrait Gallery in London! The Gallery already has a collection of some iconic Star Wars characters and actors, including Sir Alec Guinness as Obi-Wan, and Felicity Jones as Jyn Eyrso.

The chief operating officer at National Portrait Gallery, Ros Lawler said “There is no doubt that Star Wars is a cultural phenomenon that has had a huge impact on popular culture and has involved a wide range of talent from across the British film industry. We are delighted to have worked with Disney Plus on the Star Wars display, which includes the painting of ‘The Mandalorian and the Child’.”
