One of Disney World’s most infamous waterslides may be gone forever.
Recently, the waterslide went under refurbishment, but now, we’ve got word that the beloved (and pretty scary) clown may never return.
We went to check out how the construction was moving along over at the Boardwalk Inn. There was nothing too new, just the same construction walls we saw on our previous visit.
Because of the height of the walls, we can’t tell what is going on behind the scenes. However, a Cast Member nearby confirmed that the clown is not expected to return to the pool area!
This may be good or bad news depending on your feelings about the clown, but we were a bit shocked. Disney made no announcement about the clown leaving, so we just expected it to be a touch-up.
Now, we wait to find out what will take the clown’s place! We will be on the lookout for any information about the Boardwalk pool area, so stay tuned.
