With the grand reopening of the resort less than a month away, there are some important updates you’ll need to know if you plan on visiting soon!

As of this writing, the state of Hawaii still mandates that incoming guests from other states must quarantine for fourteen days upon arrival. However, starting on October 15th, visitors may bypass quarantine if they produce a negative COVID test upon arrival. For the most up-to-date state mandate information, visit gohawaii.com.

Other things to keep in mind prior to arrival

Face coverings are required for all guests above the age of 2 at all times, with the exception of eating or swimming. By entering Disney’s Aulani Resort, you are confirming that you and your party have not experienced any symptoms and that you also agree to abide by the resort’s rules and regulations. Aulani will also use an online check-in system to promote physical distancing.

Similar to what we have seen at other Disney resorts, there will be reduced capacity in stores, dining locations, pools, and other public areas. Limited-contact service throughout the shops and dining locations will be implemented to aid in maintaining physical distancing.

There will also be additional cleaning and sanitizing efforts in public areas throughout the resort, as well as each individual guest room prior to checking in. During your stay, rooms will receive a lite cleaning every other day. For Disney Vacation Club Members, rooms will receive cleaning serve on the fourth and eight day. Guests and DVC Members may decline this service if they prefer.
