NEWS! Samuel L. Jackson Will Play Nick Fury in a New Marvel Series for Disney+!

When Disney+ launched in 2019, it brought with it a full lineup of upcoming original Marvel content, including WandaVision, Loki, and The Falcon and the Winter Soldier, just to name a few!

Elizabeth Olsen is Wanda Maximoff and Paul Bettany is Vision in Marvel Studios’ WANDAVISION, exclusively on Disney+.

We just learned from Variety that another new Marvel series is in the works for the streaming service, and it will feature everyone’s favorite S.H.I.E.L.D. Director!

While the exact details of the series are unknown at this time, it has been announced that Samuel L. Jackson will reprise his role as Nick Fury for a brand-new Marvel series on Disney+! In true Marvel fashion, not much else is known at this time, but frankly this is all we need to know to decide that this series is going to be pretty epic!

While several projects have been delayed due to the pandemic, including the theatrical release of Marvel’s next major film Black Widow, we’ll certainly have PLENTY to look forward to in the months and years to come. Since this new Nick Fury series is in pre-production, we currently don’t know exactly when filming will begin, or when it will premiere on the streaming service.
