Disney+ Voice Command is Now Available on Google Smart Devices!

We love smart home technology. It adds ease and security in lots of ways from schedule management to making sure our lights are on when we are away from home! Thanks to devices like the Google Assistant and the Smart Display of the Nest Hub we also have sports scores and news stories at the ready, all we have to do is ask!

And updates that marry our love of Disney with our love of technology are some of our favorite kinds of updates. So this new announcement from Google is one we were very excited for!

Google shared two fun new pieces of interactive smart-home technology for any Google Nest owners! First, Disney+ is now available by voice command with the Nest Hub! All you have to do now is say: “Google, play The Mandalorian on Disney+” and it will play to any of your connected devices!

The commands will work for any Disney+  programming, as well. Want to watch Frozen 2? Ask your Google Assistant! Do note that this requires the subscription to Disney+ as well as having the Google Assistant tech in your home already.

And speaking of Frozen…another part of the Google announcement was that you and your family can cozy up around the fire and ask: “Hey Google, tell me a Frozen story.” You’ll even be given the option to choose the character you want to narrate!

No offense to the other awesome characters but we are going to want Olaf to tell us bedtime stories from now on! This new feature is available to use now on your Google devices.

There’s Officially a Premiere Date for ‘The Mandalorian’ Season Two on Disney+!
