You Can Now Officially Purchase Butterbeer ONLINE — But, There’s One Big Catch

Most visitors to Universal Studios parks will name one drink as their utmost favorite. That drink, of course, is the iconic butterbeer from the Wizarding World of Harry Potter!

Iced vs. Frozen Butterbeer

Although there are often arguments about whether it’s best regular or frozen (or even in ice cream form), there’s something about the butterscotch and creamy flavor that captures the imaginations of Harry Potter fans from all over the world.

Previously, the only way to get butterbeer was to visit the Wizarding World of Harry Potter at any of the Universal Studios parks. But now, that’s all changed, because you can officially order butterbeer online! And even better? It’s vegan!

The bottle itself is somewhat of a collector’s item: the idea is that eventually there will be different labels on the bottles so that fans can try to collect them all. However, there is one caveat — the sweet treat is only available to order in the UK.

Frozen Butterbeer at Universal

Currently, Harry Potter fans can pick this up online at the WB Studio Tour’s website, or in person at the Warner Bros. Studio Tour London – The Making of Harry Potter, and the Platform 9 ¾ Shops at London King’s Cross Station. Additionally, for those traveling through UK airports, it will be available at both Heathrow Airport and Gatwick Airport (although the Gatwick shop is currently closed).

The bottles sell for £5.95 ($7.75) for an individual 275ml bottle or £12.95 ($16.87) for a 4 x 200ml pack.

We never thought we would see the day where we could get butterbeer delivered to our homes, so here’s hoping that delivery will get expanded to other countries soon!
