Disney Parks Cocktails for Your Next Zoom Happy Hour

Blood Orange Margarita from La Cava del Tequila

Grab some tips from the La Cava’s resident mixologist and make your very own Blood Orange Margarita! With six simple ingredients, you can imagine you’re in EPCOT’s Mexico Pavilion sipping away instead of, well, in your living room.

Blood Orange Margarita

Serving Size: 1

INGREDIENTS:

1/8 Cup Triple Sec Arrow
3/4 Cup Puree Orange Blood
1/8 Cup Tequila El Mayor Blanco
1/2 Fresh lime
3/8 Cup Hibiscus Syrup
1 Small container of Hibiscus Salt

METHOD:

Combine the Blood Orange puree, Triple Sec Arrow, Tequila Blanco or Silver, Hibiscus Syrup, and lime. Add ice and shake or mix well. Spread a small amount of the hibiscus salt on a small plate. Moisten the outer rim of the serving glass. Then dip the rim into the salt to lightly coat.

Snow Leopard from Nomad Lounge

Take a walk on the wild side with the Snow Leopard cocktail from Animal Kingdom‘s Nomad Lounge! One of the most refreshing options on the list, the drink is made with a combination of mint, ginger beer, peach liqueur, and lime juice.

INGREDIENTS:

6 Mint Leaves
1 oz Vodka
1 oz Pear Liqueur
1/2 oz Fresh Lime Juice
3 oz Ginger Beer
Lime wheel for garnish, mint sprig for garnish

METHOD:

Put mint leaves, vodka, pear liqueur and fresh line juice in a cocktail shaker. Add ice. Shake, then top with ginger beer.

Serve in a tall glass over ice. Garnish with a lime wheel and mint sprig.

Italian Margarita

Take a trip to EPCOT’s Italy Pavilion with the Italian Margarita! With three simple ingredients, the drink combines limoncello, grappa, and margarita mix, all of which you blend with ice for a frozen delight!

INGREDIENTS:

1 ounce Grappa
1 ounce Limoncello
6 ounces Margarita mix
Blend with ice to make frozen and enjoy!

Blue Glowtini from ’50s Prime Time Cafe

So, we should start by saying that the Blue Glowtini from ’50s Prime Time Cafe is a lot more fun if you’ve got a glow cube to go with it. But, if you don’t, no need to skip out on this tasty drink!

50s Prime Time Cafe

INGREDIENTS:

Ingredients

1 ounce Skyy Citrus Vodka
0.5 ounce Bols Blue Curacao
0.5 ounce Bols Peach Schnapps
1 ounce Sweet & Sour
0.5 ounce Pineapple Juice
1 each Blue Glow Cube (optional)

METHOD:

Build in martini shaker with ice, shake, strain, and pour into glass with sugared rim. Add cube.

Golden Gate Cocktail from California Grill

While you can’t go wrong with the Golden Gate Cocktail from California Grill for your Zoom Happy Hour, we also fully recommend drinking this concoction while replaying a stream of Happily Ever After for the ultimate Disney-from-home experience!

California Grill

INGREDIENTS:

1 1/4 ounces Remy Martin VSOP Cognac
3/4 ounce Amaretto Disaronno
1/2 ounce cranberry juice
Orange slice, for garnish

METHOD:

Shake ingredients with ice and strain into a martini glass. Squeeze the slice of orange into the drink.

Mint Julep from Disneyland’s Mint Julep Bar

You simply cannot go wrong with this classic! The Mint Julep is a Park icon from Disneyland’s Mint Julep Bar. While you can add alcohol to this one, the recipe below is for a delicious and refreshing mocktail!

Mint Julep at Disneyland

Makes 2/3 Gallon

INGREDIENTS:

1 Cup Sugar
3 tsp Lime Juice Concentrate
3 Cups Club Soda
6 Tbsp Creme de Menthe Syrup (not liqueur)
6 oz Thawed Lemonade Concentrate
Mint Leaves
Pineapple Slices
Maraschino Cherries
Bamboo Skewers

METHOD:

Dissolve sugar into club soda. Add lime juice and lemonade and bring to a boil. Remove from heat and add creme de menthe. Chill.

To serve, combine 3 parts syrup to 5 parts water. Add mint, and skewer two pineapple slices and a cherry. Serve chilled (add ice cubes if necessary).
