Shanghai Disney Resort Will Host Tons of Fall-Themed Activities This Year — Including an Entire Duffy Month!

As we enter the final few weeks of summer, Disney Parks worldwide are looking ahead to autumn! Here in the US, Disney World will mark the arrival of Fall on September 15th, with decorations, entertainment, and treats throughout Magic Kingdom!

Over in Shanghai Disney Resort, which was the first Disney park to reopen for Guests back in May, fall is about to be in full swing in the park and resort!

This autumn season at Shanghai Disney Resort will include A Month With Duffy and Friends, marked by the arrival of ‘Olu Mel! Olu made his debut at Aulani, a Disney Resort and Spa in 2018 and is one of Duffy’s newest friends! A special welcome ceremony will take place on September 1st for Olu, followed by a month long celebration of all things Duffy and his friends!

The celebration will feature a brand new show called “Duffy and Friends Celebrate Together,” as well as a ton of new Duffy-inspired treats and merchandise!

If you’re looking to fully embrace all things Duffy during your stay at the Shanghai Disney Resort, the Shanghai Disneyland Hotel is offering a total Duffy “staycation” package, complete with a Duffy-themed room amenities and overlay, hotel breakfast, and tickets to the park.

Halloween is also making its way to Shanghai Disney Resort! The park will be transformed from October 5th through November 1st and offering fun trick-or-treat activities, a Halloween-themed cavalcade led by Donald and Daisy Duck, and a Nightmare Before Christmas-inspired “This is Halloween” dance party hosted by Jack Skellington and Sally! Miguel from Pixar’s Coco will also make an appearance in Adventure Isle from October 12th through November 8th.

As for Halloween weekend itself, Guests can take part in the “Halloween Days of Spook-tacular” on October 30th and 31st. The weekend will end each day with a special “Kiss Goodnight” fireworks show themed to spooky music! And of course, special treats and merchandise will be available to purchase all season long!

But the fall fun does NOT stop there, friends! Disneytown as well as Wishing Star Park will embrace all things autumn with a new Disneytown Harvest Festival Market, complete with all kinds of festive food offerings! Wishing Star Park will host nature adventures for guests of all ages, including an appearance by the one and only Mickey Mouse!
