Disneyland Resort has been closed since March with no confirmed reopening date. At this time, theme parks can open once California reaches Phase Three of their reopening plans.
Disneyland was originally set to open in July, along with Disney California Adventure’s newest land, Avengers Campus. While no reopening date has been named for the park, or for the upcoming land, a new audition notice for Disneyland points to some very exciting things to come!
Disney is continuing construction on the new Avengers Campus in Disney California Adventure Park, including the recent installation of a giant replica of The Quinjet! Now, online auditions are being held for stunt performers who will play Marvel’s Black Panther, as well as General Okoye and Captain America.
The audition doesn’t confirm the park will reopen soon, but it does indicate the theme park is gearing up for something! The audition process can take a long time and the roles can start at any time in the future. It can be months before the performers begin rehearsals and work in the parks.
