We’re back in Universal Orlando to explore everything new and hoppin’ happening in the parks today!

While we already have recently checked out the newly reopened Cinemark on Universal’s CityWalk and given you the details on the next round of Annual Passholder benefits, one of our favorite attractions is down again today due to unforeseen circumstances.

Yesterday, Hagrid’s Magical Creatures Motorbike Adventure closed for the day after a small fire started backstage at the attraction. Although nobody was hurt and the fire was put out quickly, Universal made sure to close the ride to fix the issues that had occurred.

While Universal has stated that they will open the attraction again as soon as possible, Hagrid’s Magical Creatures Motorbike Adventure is closed currently on August 13th as Universal continues to conduct safety checks on the ride. While the Virtual Queue line currently says that it’s “delayed for weather,” the attraction could be closed throughout the day like it was yesterday.

We’ll be sure to keep an eye on the attraction to let you know when guests are able to greet Buckbeak and drive a magical motorbike when Hagrid’s re-opens soon!
