It seems even Walt Disney World can’t escape the strange happenings of 2020.
Not too long ago, a boat sank on Splash Mountain and earlier this year, a Jungle Cruise boat sank as well. Today, there appears to have been another incident at a restaurant in Magic Kingdom.
Jungle Navigation Co. LTD Skipper Canteen is a Table Service restaurant located in Adventureland in Magic Kingdom. After reports that Skipper Canteen was evacuated today, we received photos from our reader Erin showing firefighters on the scene.
We don’t know much about the situation at the moment, except that guests at Skipper Canteen were evacuated, potentially due to a fire in the kitchen area of the restaurant.
The fire department responded to the scene.
We’ll let you know as we hear more on this developing situation.
