Can you believe that the summer is almost over? BUT, the good news is that there are still plenty of movies and shows coming to Disney+ soon!
Although there are plenty of films available to the streaming service based on novels like Artemis Fowl and Percy Jackson, Disney+ has snagged another book-to-movie deal that fans everywhere will love!
Disney+ will be debuting a film based on Anna Sewell’s classic novel Black Beauty! The new movie will retell the story of the book, where a horse who is captured and taken away from her family becomes close with orphaned teenager Jo Green.
Mackenzie Foy will star as Jo, while Kate Winslet will voice Black Beauty. The film written and directed by Ashley Avis will premiere on Disney+ this upcoming Fall (and we can’t WAIT to see it)!
As Disney+ releases more details about the movie, we’ll give you a first look at Black Beauty when it arrives onto Disney+!
