When Disney+ debuted last November, Baby Yoda wasn’t the only hit from the streaming service.

The Imagineering Story was another series that debuted with Disney+, a docuseries from Leslie Iwerks, award-winning filmmaker and granddaughter of Disney Legend Ub Iwerks. The series gave an in-depth look into Walt Disney Imagineering over the course of six episodes that had fans begging for a second season.
In a recent interview with Collider, Iwerks spoke about the series, along with the potential for a second season of the show!

When Iwerks accidentally mentioned seven episodes of the show instead of the six that have aired, she was pressed on the potential for more of the series. In response, she said, “There’s more in me and I hope we can do more. That’s all I can tell you on that one.”

So while we don’t have a definitive on a second season of the popular series for Disney+, it certainly sounds like the director is on board for more! We will continue to update with any new developments for The Imagineering Story.
