Now, New Jersey has added other states to their list.

New Jersey’s official listing of states under their travel advisory has added several other locations, including California. That means that anyone from California, or traveling to California and then back to New Jersey, will be required to undergo a 14-day quarantine upon their return.

In addition to the previously announced Alabama, Arkansas, Arizona, Florida, North Carolina, South Carolina, Washington, Texas, and Utah, the list now also includes California, Georgia, Iowa, Idaho, Lousiana, Mississippi, Nevada and Tennessee.

When the travel advisory was initially announced, New York Governor Andrew Cuomo explained this new criteria, stating that it “applies to any person arriving from a state with a postitive test rate higher than 10 per 100,000 residents over a 7-day rolling average or a state with a 10% or higher positivity rate over a 7-day rolling average.” The three states will continually update their respective websites with a list of states that this new advisory will apply to.
