As Disney World prepares to reopen on July 11th, that means that things will probably start picking up again soon for the EPCOT Transformation!
Construction is still in progress all around the property (like the Cinderella Castle redesign and Disney’s Grand Floridian Walkway), and we’ve got some news about the upcoming Guardians of the Galaxy Coaster in EPCOT!
Although there hasn’t been any confirmation about the filming, the Guardians of the Galaxy director James Gunn stated during an Instagram Q&A session that he’s working on the new Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind coaster set for EPCOT!
As fans asked him for more information about Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind, he said that it would be “utterly mind-blowing” for all guests to visit when it opens!
Currently, Cosmic Rewind is slated to open for Disney World’s 50th anniversary in 2021. But, we will continue to keep you updated on any news about progress on the coaster here!
