SeaWorld Orlando Only Allowing Advanced Reservations for Select Days of the Week When They Reopen

After reporting on the grand reopening of Universal Orlando last week, our sights are now set on the next major theme park to reopen — SeaWorld!

As the theme park prepares to reopen this week, a new reservation system will be in place, similar to the reservation system we anticipate seeing for Disney World. But unlike Disney World, guests wanting to visit SeaWorld will be limited as to which days of the week the park will even be open!

After the park reopens on Thursday, June 11th, it appears as though the park will be closed every Tuesday and Thursday.

We looked further down SeaWorld’s calendar and this trend appears to continue through the rest of the summer.

Even looking further ahead to the fall, SeaWorld is continuing to report closures on Tuesdays and Thursdays each week. This may be a case where SeaWorld is implementing a schedule that will be in effect until further notice, but for the time being it doesn’t look like they are committing to a time where they will be open 7 days a week again.

At this time, we have not heard any official announcements from SeaWorld regarding this unique operating schedule. It may be that the park wants or needs those two days each week to properly clean and sanitize the parks, but we will update you as we learn more!

Are you planning on visiting SeaWorld in the coming weeks? Let us know in the comments!
