Since Disney World has been closed, guests with Annual Passes had their monthly payments halted on April 5th.

While there wasn’t a certainty when they would be able to use them again, now it’s been announced that Disney will be reopening on July 11th and 15th to welcome guests again.
Although Annual Passholders who have paid in full can either choose to have their expiration dates extend or receive partial refunds, Passholders with monthly payments have started to receive refunds this week for their March payment.

According to one of our team members, she received a refund for March’s payment from before the parks officially closed. Florida residents who use this monthly plan were issued the refund over the past few days. Many (but not all) Annual Passholders received a confirmation email if they were refunded monthly payments.

Disney World has also announced that it will have special Passholder preview opportunities that will be coming soon. We’ll keep you updated with more information!

I received refunds june 1 for payments taken out 3/26 and 4/1. Have not received refunds for payments taken 3/18 or 3/22.
Disney should allow annual pass holders a choice to receive a full refund on their passes from the day the parks closed to the ending date of their annual passes. If you paid for a pass to come anytime and park hop on any one day and then are unable to take advantage of what you paid for you should receive a refund for the full amount of your purchase from the day the park closed to the end date of your pass. No one should be forced to accept a significant drop in value to cost that the new restrictions will impose.
8 members of our family have annual passes in force for either the March vacation that was cancelled, or for the now upcoming November vacation.
Will we be able to get extensions on our annual passes?
My daughter has an Annual Pass(not exactly sure which one)… but it was set to expire near the end of May. Her and her friends had a trip planned the week before expiration and obviously that could not happen. It was paid in full at time of purchase(last June) and I have called about getting the partial refund since she can not go back until next summer at the earliest. I was told they can not do it until the park actually opens…which I don’t quite understand since they know when the closed, know when they will reopen and know when her AP was expiring. Oh and they are also giving the payment plan APs refunds. We made all our payments right at the time of purchase…Frustrating!
We went to WDW in March and activated our passes for 5 hours (after assurance from the front desk at our resort that they would not be closing) and then the parks closed. Our trip in July has now been moved to December and the DVC annual passes are blocked out for the dates of our trips. We spent $1398.00 for five hours in one park. Trying to get a refund for the whole pass to apply to the ten tickets I need to buy for December. No luck so far.
I purchased my platinum annual pass with the expectation of enjoying all the attractions and more offered in the parks at the time, including park hopper privileges. The extension date of my annual pass should be to the date when all parks with all attractions, including parades, shows and fireworks are open or the date when I first use my annual pass, whichever occurs first. To provide less, deprives me of the actual value of my annual pass.
