Although Disney has been updating everyone with their new list of cancelations, refunds, and more, Annual Passholders now have more details about their return into the parks!

Earlier today, Annual Passholders started receiving emails about guests with hotel or ticket reservations having priority booking through the new theme park reservation system.

To keep Passholders up to date on important information, Disney World has created a new page for Annual Passholders! To access this page, you’ll want to click “Get Details” at this point on the main Walt Disney World page.

From there, scroll down all the way, where you will see “Annual Passess” in a big blue section.

The most recent news on this new page states that annual passes will not guarantee park entry when Disney World reopens in July. Annual Passholders will also be required to make advance reservations like the other guests visiting.

There may be limited dates and times that Annual Passholders can visit due to capacity management. At this moment, passes will be subject to blockout dates. Total reservation days that guests can have at one time will be limited, as well as some Annual Passholder benefits and features. During this time, some Disney World experiences and offerings will be modified, limited, and possibly even canceled

Although Disney World will be limiting Annual Passholder entry into the parks, there will be a special preview opportunity being announced for Passholders soon! If you own a pass, Disney is also offering extensions for the number of days the parks will be closed through July, as well as refunds and postponed payments.

  1. Yes I will be going to Magic Kingdom on Thursday July 9 for the pass holder preview. I already have my reservation

  2. This information seemed hard to find. Both my daughters and I became annual passholders this February and were hoping to have one week of Disney bliss. Before Covid, I had a terrible year, and since Covid, it’s only worse. I booked a back up reservation for July 5th and have heard nothing yet. I’m in this void at the moment and can’t get any answers from Disney. Everything I find out is from Molly’s posts or through other Disney blogs. I realize Covid is not their fault, but I am disappointed at how they are handling this situation for passholders with reservations.

I’m not sure this is accurate. It says to know your pass type and check if your pass has blackout dates. It’s just a reminder, not an addition with the Covid measures. I went to the page instructed, and blackout dates look the same as they always do. It wasn’t anything unexpected.

  4. Probably not, because while we’re platinum AP, we live in Michigan. We’re limited by travel because of our distance, so we go once, maybe twice a year for about two weeks to make the travel worthwhile. We’re scheduled to go at the end of August and have resort reservations (and we had other stuff, as well but I’m hearing that we won’t) so I hope we can secure park visits to fill our 10 day stay. We were going to get our niece 8 days – 2 days in each park as she doesn’t have a pass. Who knows what’s going to happen with that. We bought tickets to take her to MNSSHP in late August. It’s also her last year to experience the boutique, but it looks like we might not be able to get her hair done. I know it’s not Disney’s fault, but I’m furious at Covid. Stupid virus had to ruin everything. I do kinda think though that Disney should give rebooking and park priority to people who had made plans. Disney created this culture of massive pre-planning that takes luck and effort and to throw all of those plans out is kinda a slap in the face. I know they’re dealing with capacity reductions but we’re not APs that can just go on a whim any week. The week we have is what we have, because that’s when our reservations are and the niece is due back at school (maybe?) in September.
