After the San Diego Tourism Authority set new health and safety guidelines for parks, Legoland and SeaWorld scheduled to meet with San Diego County health officials to discuss the new theme park plans on May 27th. Some of these protocols will include limited capacity, increased sanitization efforts, social distancing, and more.

However, SeaWorld and other California theme parks still haven’t proposed reopening dates yet. Currently, theme parks can reopen during Stage 3 of California’s reopening plan, which has not been given a time frame. Although Legoland would like to open in July, the theme park hasn’t been approved for reopening at this time.
