With many professional sport seasons being cancelled, ESPN’s content has been very different than years past.

One of the annual staples on ESPN has been the ESPY Awards. Since 1993, ESPN has celebrated top athletes and iconic moments in sports from the previous year. It was uncertain how the award show would go this year, but the show will go on! The ESPYS will air on Sunday, June 21st at 9PM ET on ESPN.

The 2020 ESPY Awards will be hosted by Seattle Storm point guard, Sue Bird, OL Reign winger, Megan Rapinoe, and Seattle Seahawks quarterback, Russell Wilson.

In the past, the award show focused on top athletes, but this year the ESPYS will also “highlight narratives of service, perseverance, and courage within the world of sports.”

The ESPYS will also aim to raise awareness and funds for ESPN’s charity, V Foundation for Cancer Research. Tune in to ESPN at 9PM ET on June 21st to see the award show for yourself!
