Disney Pic of the Week: Water Reflection

Finding a good water reflection at Walt Disney World is like finding a new Hidden Mickey for a photographer. Smooth, calm water is hard to find with the use of various watercraft and Florida breezes. Sometimes you have to settle for not a perfect reflection but a nice one.

Odyssey Water Reflection
Odyssey Center reflected in the water at night in Epcot’s Future World at Walt Disney World, Orlando, Florida. Nikon D750/24-120VR, 1/8s, f/8, ISO 6400, EV 0, 58mm Focal Length.

On this evening, the water in front of the Odyssey Center had some ripples. Not so many as to wipe away its reflection. The Odyssey Center is currently housing the Epcot Experience which shows how Epcot’s Future World will be transforming itself over then year.

  1. The one that stands out the most to me has gotta be anything photographed that reflects Cinderella’s Castle. You can almost never go wrong 🙂

    1. I have to agree with you there! I have rarely found the moat to be like a mirror but I still like the photos!
